Get a bit of history and a good fun scare with a ghostly tour of Old Town San Diego State Historic Park this Halloween season. Lead by an unfortunately clueless ghost hunter, participants are guaranteed to see plenty of ghosts, many of whom were real San Diegans who experienced tragic deaths in Old Town during the 1800s. Beginning Oct. 9, tours will be held twice nightly every Friday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and 7. Tours meet at the Visitor Center near the intersection of Wallace and Calhoun streets and are limited to 50 participants. Tickets are available at the Visitor Center or online at http://www.brownpapertickets.com. Tickets are $8 plus a service fee online and $10 at the Visitor Center. A family discount is available at the Visitors Center where the first two family members are $10 each and each additional immediate family member is only $5. This special is only available at the Visitor Center. Credit cards are not accepted at the Visitor Center.
