–April 29 is the Day to Dine for HIV/AIDS–

Casa de Reyes and South Bay Fish & Grill are joining the fight against HIV/AIDS by participating in the Dining Out for Life campaign on April 29.

The Dining Out for Life campaign, produced by the San Diego LGBT Community Center and will bring together 100 participating restaurants, bars, coffee houses and nightclubs in San Diego with a minimum of 25 percent of sales benefiting The Center’s HIV/AIDS services and prevention programs.

“We are honored to be a part of the Dining Out for Life Campaign,” says Chuck Ross, owner and operator of Casa de Reyes and South Bay Fish & Grill. “I am proud to support the LBGT community of San Diego.”

In 2009, 82 restaurants from 22 San Diego neighborhoods raised $105,000. The goal for 2010 is to raise $125,000. Funds raised from Dining Out for Life benefit The Center’s HIV/AIDS prevention programs and direct services for those living with HIV/AIDS.

Casa de Reyes is located in the northeast section of Old Town San Diego State Historic Park, in the Fiesta de Reyes plaza. South Bay Fish & Grill is located at 570 Marina Parkway on the Chula Vista harbor.
