Holiday Victorian Tea Party in Old Town

November 10, 2010

–A Victorian Holiday Tea Party at Old Town San Diego State Historic Park–

Mrs. Sarah Robinson, widow of the late Governor of Texas, James Robinson, will be pouring tea for her friends. Guests will experience an early San Diego 19th century tea party with delicious food and beverages and typical Victorian entertainment.  This immersive theatre experience will take place in the gorgeously restored 1872 Cosmopolitan Hotel & Restaurant in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park.

Mrs. Robinson promises music, comedy, and games. Be warned. Mr. Joshua Sloane may interrupt the proceedings with his antics. Suitable for the entire family. Free parking available.

This performance is a 90 minute tea party with holiday fare food and absurd entertainment by a cast of Victorian eccentrics. Guests are welcome to attend in attire of the late 19th century.

As part of the annual Holiday in the Park activities, this event is brought to you by California State Parks and the Cosmopolitan Hotel & Restaurant, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the interpretive and education programs at Old Town San Diego State Historic Park.
